Brewer's Comments: "This will be my eigth attempt at brewing beer, my third using a 'Hoppy' recipe that included 1 can of (HME) and can of (UME). After fermenting for 21 days I will sample this brew before bottling it. From the very first taste I will know if waiting another 21 days for carbonation to complete, will be a challenge".

When bottling this brew I somehow ended up with a half filled bottle, so just to see what would happen I topped the 1 liter bottle off with purified water. The contents of the bottle carbonated for 3 weeks and spent 2 days in the refridgerator, we then compared it side by side to a Bud 55.

They both looked the same in the glass and not surprisingly the Bud 55 had less flavor. I had discovered a cool way to double my standard 2 gallon batch of Canadian Draft to produce 4 gallons of great tasting Canadian Draft Light
